As our Chief Operating Officer, Lance is involved in every aspect of the company including sales and quoting and customer relations. He is a self-proclaimed manufacturing geek and loves the variety in his job along with getting to meet great people. Outside of the office, Lance enjoys traveling, water activities, being outdoors, and experiencing different events with his three daughters. He is also heavily involved with CMMA helping coordinate the apprentice and robotics programs.
As one of our Inside Sales Representatives, Logan is involved in a few different areas including sales, shipping, and scheduling/planning. He enjoys working with customers, suppliers, and co-workers and finds it fun to work with different people inside and outside of the company to get things done. In his spare time, Logan likes traveling, sports-both playing and watching/attending games/events, and spending time with his friends and family. He is also on the Paynesville Chamber of Commerce board and involved on a committee at the school.
As our Executive Vice President of Materials and Sales, Kevin works to ensure quality and precision in sales, purchasing, and logistics. Having started with Louis Industries in 1981, Kevin loves getting to see all of the progress the company has made. He enjoys working for an innovative company that truly values its employees. Outside of work, Kevin likes traveling, hiking, golfing, and the outdoors. He also sits on the Paynesville area Community Foundation board and the school advisory committee.
As one of our Inside Sales Representatives, Jim works with customers, vendors and fellow co-workers to assure Louis Industries is maintaining and creating relationships with many valued customers. He enjoys getting to interact with many different people and values the strong teamwork atmosphere he gets to work in everyday. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending his time gardening, playing softball, and fishing. Jime also loves projects that he can build using tools on wood or steel.
As one of our Design Engineers, Jeff is responsible for creating 3D models and drawings, working to make parts more manufacturable and more error proof, and performing some offline programming. He also does some fixture design, as well as reviews routers for manufacturing and quality requirements. He enjoys the variety and the challenges that come along with his position as there are always opportunities to perform new and different tasks and expand his knowledge base. When he is not in the office, he likes hunting, drag racing, grilling, and reading about economics.
As one of our Design Engineers, Will works with sales staff to ensure customers parts are manufactured as required by the customer. He also creates CAD/CAM data for manufacturing from customer information. Will enjoys seeing the end-product working as desired for the customer. He also likes the great work environment and team members at Louis Industries. When not at work, Will loves fishing, hunting, hiking, and trying new food/beer/wine/spirits.
As our HR and Safety Manager, Julia is responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and good employee morale. Her other duties include: ISO certification, benefits administration, IT management, employee development and training, employee relations, FMLA, work comp/property/liability insurance, and company events. She enjoys watching the company flourish and grow as well as being a part of a leadership team that makes a difference. Outside of work, Julia loves spending time with family, camping, gardening, wakeboarding, snowmobiling, ice fishing and hunting. She also volunteers her time as a life coach for young adults.
As our Finance Manager, Dan oversees all accounting functions including budgets, payroll, banking and tax reporting. He always strives to go above and beyond by looking for ways to improve product margins. He enjoys providing meaningful data that assists management in making good business decisions and enjoys working in a culture that supports and drives process improvements. Outside of the office, Dan loves fishing, golfing, fixing and driving his classic muscle car, and wine tasting. He is also a member of the MN Sheltie Rescue where he makes home visits to future adoption owners and assists with fundraising and rescuing lost dogs.
As our sales administrator, Lou’s main responsibility is providing support to the internal and external sales teams. She enjoys assisting customers and forming new relationships with partners. Her co-workers are one of Lou’s favorite parts about working at Louis Industries. Outside of the office, she likes restoring old furniture and is fascinated with vintage and muscle cars.
As one of our Inside Sales Representatives, Cindy’s duties include quoting new projects that come in and building work orders for various areas of the facility. She likes working with various internal and external customers and getting to do different tasks daily. Outside of the office, Cindy enjoys being with her grandchildren along with camping and fishing. She is also a volunteer with Family Promise and at her church.
As our Production Planner, some of Andy’s duties include scheduling our manual manufacturing and welding productions. He also communicates with our sales team to ensure on-time delivery. He enjoys working with like-minded teammates and having fun at work. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, spending time outdoors, camping, and spending time with his family. He has also volunteered at the Paynesville Fire Department, becoming Chief in 2004.
As our Maintenance Director, it is Rick’s responsibility to minimize the downtime of our machines by keeping them up and running smoothly. As a master problem solver, he enjoys that everyday there is something new to learn while on the job. He loves working in such a tight knit family environment with management that appreciates and listens to employees. When Rick is not at the facility, he like fishing, traveling, and doing just about anything with his wife and children. He also enjoys giving back by helping out his neighbors because he knows a good deed never goes unnoticed.
As one of our Inside Sales Representatives, Ryan has many duties including sales and estimating, building part numbers, communicating with partners and building those relationships. He likes getting to meet many new people and watch their projects “come to life” at Louis Industries. He also enjoys continually learning from those around him. Outside of the office, Ryan loves having family time and getting to watch his children grow up. He also likes hunting and tinkering with projects on his hobby farm.
As our Plant Operations Manager, Brian is responsible for fostering an environment where quality and continuous improvement are everyday goals. He enjoys problem solving and watching the results. He also enjoys his co-workers and believes the people at Louis Industries make the difference. In his free time, Brian loves traveling, scuba diving, and spending time on the water.
As our Engineering Supervisor, Paul has several duties including entering ECN’s, designing/drawing parts and weldments, creating programs for CNC machines, and designing/drawing fixturing to support manufacturing. He enjoys working with good people and being able to see the results of his work in engineering. In his free time, Paul loves running, camping, and traveling. He is also involved in Boy Scouts and his family and friends are his passion project.
As our Accountant, Gloria assists with the company’s finance department including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She enjoys working with such supportive and caring co-workers. Outside of work, she likes going to plays and playing games. She also loves trying new recipes. Gloria gives back by collecting food for her local food shelf and coats for the coat drive at her church.
